I started in IM about 4 years ago, maybe more, I honestly can’t remember.  I actually started making money online by selling handmade crochet ponchos on ebay.  Netted a few grand, then the fad ended, as they all do, and I was totally lost.  So I started looking deeper into ways to make money.

This led to massive credit card debt, as I was trying to buy everything and anything that would tell me how to make money.  Which, of course, led to deeper debt with printer paper and ink, etc.  :(  So, there I was, a 30-something stay at home mom with 2 boys, trying to make money and getting nowhere fast.   And, as the depression grew, so did my credit card balances - I kept saying to myself, just one more ebook - that’ll get me making money, it has to.  Yea, right.  Don’t do that.  (Easier said than done, I know).

Then I bought the Rich Jerk’s ebook, and everything changed.  The book itself didn’t make the change, it was the friends I made in the forum.  I made very good friends there, and because I was really trying, they helped me as much as they could.  One even built my first website for me.  I had no clue what html was, and it showed.  So he fixed that for me, taught me how to upload it to my site, and then I learned how to get traffic to it, made more friends, branched out, and actually started doing good (making money).  That forum has changed a LOT since then, and I’ll never go back to it.  But the friends and relationships I made there still hold to this very day.  I am very thankful for that.
